board of directors

2023-2024

  • Ana Guerrero-Gonzalez

I am a Health Education Specialist with Public Health. I earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2019 from Humboldt State University. I have passion for health equity and serving the Latinx community. I am excited about joining the Latino Net Board this year and cannot wait to see the things I will learn during my term.

  • Andrea Bruhnke

I am from Argentina and moved to Humboldt County at a young age. I went to Humboldt State University and graduated with a bachelors in Psychology and a masters degree in Kinesiology. I am the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program Manager with the Area 1 Agency on Aging and am passionate about improving the lives of elders in our community.

I spend most of my free time rock climbing, and through this sport I get to visit many beautiful parts of the world both within the United States and abroad.

  • Emily Siegel

  • Jessica Conde - Rebholtz

I am a second-generation Latina born and raised in the tough neighborhood of Watts in Los Angeles, where I learned to be resilient and independent at a young age. I moved to Humboldt County 10 years ago to teach Nutrition for the University of California Cooperative Extension. Due to Covid I decided to stay home and raise my last child. My passion has always been in nutrition and helping my community. In April of 2022 I opened a WIC only grocery store Parents Nutrition Center to help provide families a safe stigma free store to shop for WIC items. In June of 2022 I was appointed to the board of Eureka City Schools and in November of 2022 I was elected for a 4-year term.

I am the Principal Caltrans Highway Equipment Superintendent - II in District 1. The District consists of Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, and Lake Counties. One of the best aspects of living up here is that I get to see parts of California rarely seen by anyone, and know that what we do has a real impact in the lives of the people within our communities.

  • Jorge Matias
